All, My family and I stayed at the Ivy May Villa on Calabay Parc across the Christmas period. I just wanted to drop a note to say that we had a great time and thought the villa facilities were excellent. We had a long trip to Orlando that included a 2 hour delay in the arrival of our luggage, we got to the villa after midnight and it was uplifting to walk through the door. The only problem we had was with the pool heat, this was quickly rectified by Pam and Tony (on a Sunday) and had no problems for the rest of the stay. This was our first Christmas away from the UK, it was a rather surreal sitting around the pool in Christmas Day in 80F heat. We managed to find all the ingredients for a "British" Christmas Dinner with the exception of a Christmas Pudding (a learning for next time). Internet access was great as we were able to use a webcam to talk to relatives back in the UK. We purchased a Chriostmas Tree and have left it boxed with decorations and lights in the garage, We will almost certainly like to stay in your villa again and have already recommended it to friends. This is the 3rd year I have come to Orlando with my family and my boys are still small. I am sure there will be many more years to come that we will be making it our family vacation. After this experience I can sincerely tell you that we will never stay in a hotel in that area again! I am only sorry that I did not learn of your service earlier.

Just to let you know, when we arrived on Friday 14th, the air-conditioning wasn't working and we contacted the couple who manage the villa for you - Pam and Tony - and they were absolutely great and really quick at coming round and getting it fixed. Pam, Thought you might like to see the comments made about Frontline Florida form my recent guest Salter. * How do you rate our Florida management company, Frontline Florida? Really good when we walked through the door you would think you were entering a very good high class hotel. (Remember at this point we had stayed in 8 hotels/suites on our tour of Florida) The whole place was very clean with everything laid out nicely, the information book was brilliant with all the relevant information required. Prior to returning home I phoned them about late booking out as agreed with yourself. Everything OK for 5.00pm. But at 2.00pm on the day we were gong home they phoned, you had taken a late booking and I needed to be out so the cleaner could come in. Well we weren't at that time, but I explained that we had only used the one bedroom and bathroom. We had already washed the sheets and the kitchen had only been used for hot drinks. Therefore there really wasn't much for her to do. We both mutually agreed to me leaving at 4.00pm which worked out best for both parties. * Any other comments? Our daughter stayed in a "Luxury" four bedded villa on Westridge. Well if hers was Luxury yours must be the moon because it didn't have a patch on yours. If anyone asks for a recommendation for a villa rental in Orlando yours is top of my list. Kind Regards, Mark. |

We've been
back about a month now and at last I can talk about the fabulous time
we had.
The villa was
just fantastic. Thank you for allowing us the use of what is obviously
a treasured home. We all enjoyed ourselves so much and as a family
made a magical time so much more than any other Christmas, a
time we will all remember for a very long time.
The pool
heater was giving trouble so we had to call in to your management
people a couple of times but they were great and couldn't do enough
for us. Even when the phone was out calling around to give us messages
from our daughter. Please can you thank them for us when your next in
touch?

Hi Bill,
We just
arrived back to chilly Nova Scotia a couple of hours ago and I just
wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you so much for the fabulous
vacation home rental. Your home at Emerald Island Resort was
absolutely fabulous. Our children were so excited when they arrived
you would think that they had never seen a swimming pool before and
both of us have large in-ground swimming pools. Your house was very
clean and had more than adequate amenities. We certainly felt at home.
Your home was everything we had expected and much more. We will
certainly recommend your home to any friends or family who may be
vacationing in the Orlando area. You never know you may hear from us
again in another couple of years; we had such a wonderful vacation we
were already discussing the idea of when we may be able to return
again. I think we really lucked out in regards to the weather, it was
about 78-80 degrees for most of our stay. It was only the last couple
of days the temperature dropped a bit. Again, thank you for making our
stay so warm and welcoming.

We are now back from our holiday in Orlando. I just wanted to let you know that we were very pleased with your house and really enjoyed our stay there. I do not think that your photo's do it enough justice. We would love to go and stay there again and once we decide on our next visit to Florida hope it will be ok to contact you again. I have to say that your management company was v. friendly and very quick to sort out both problems that we had. They came straight away and sorted the problems v. quickly. I would like
to extend thanks from my family for the wonderful stay at the villa.
Please pass on our thanks to the owners of the house.
My parents
were thrilled with the master bedroom and bath, especially as they
were on the ground floor. My mother has arthritis and does not
manage well on the stairs. My nephews really enjoyed the pool
and were in it everyday. It was great to have the pool toys
provided also.
The villa had
everything we needed and was very spacious. It was close to the
grocery store and WDW. We really enjoyed our stay there.
We will recommend Frontline Florida to everyone for their next
trips to Florida.

We were also happy with the amount of extra bed linens and towels for both bathrooms and pool that was available. We have rented other homes before and found yours to be superior. We had the opportunity to see some of the other homes from you that others in our were staying in, They were all equally impressive.
